I crafted 3 pairs of hand made fairy wings for the 2024 Tennessee Renaissance Faire. I made a pattern and then made a wire structure for each set of wings. I sewed 6 sheer fabric sleeves per set of wings to slip over the section of the wings. One pair of wings was for myself, and the other two were paid commissions.
